JCL Designs came to life after 30+ years of learning & building that started for me as a teenager. I still remember the smell of Fir in my grandfather’s basement shop. That has lead me through most facets of construction both residential and industrial, but I’ve always come back to carpentry and most specifically finish carpentry and woodworking.

While working my way through junior college studying drafting I spent 15 years building custom cabinets, residential trim & millwork. Including manufacturing custom interior and exterior doors, stairways and producing custom millwork.
